Mac Leopard is not friendly to web developers

After 5 rough days of futzing with my Mac, I got mysql/apache/php running, with the help of MAMP. Boo Apple! Yay MAMP!
I use the non-pro version. I edited MAMP’s httpd.conf file to get virtual hosts, restarted the servers, and sighed a sigh of relief to see that it actually works.
