1954: my mother (Claudette) as a child with my grandparents and an unidentified baby. My grandmother Elda LeBlanc married Aimé Bonnevie in her late thirties and had her first and last child when she was forty years old, in December 1945.

This would have been considered an extremely late pregnancy at the time. My grandfather's first wife died of heart failure; my mother has several half-siblings that are nearly a generation older than she.
