I visited Kona, Hawaii several times, and took photographs of the flowers, plants, bugs, and underwater creatures. I also visited Volcano National Park.

We photographed some rusty objects down at the Mountain View Shoreline (CA). We visited Anderson Valley with friends. Anderson Valley is a wonderful woodsy retreat north of the bay area, near wine country. However, you've seen a thousand pretty trees before; I found the rusty cars and other objects of times past nestled amongst the trees more fascinating and beautiful.

El Corte de Madera is a park on the easter side of the Santa Cruz Mountains that has redwoods and banana slugs.
