Yet Another Photo of Kelp and Sunbeams in Monterey
The surface is thick with kelp, but one need only go down 10 feet to be clear of the canopy. At 10 feet and deeper the kelp forest is like a grove of thin trees, and diving amongst them is like flying through a strange forest.
